Firozabad: Recently a sensational case of honor killing has come up in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Angry at the information of his daughters' love affair, the father strangled the daughter to death. The father also applied a current to the daughter before the murder. After the murder, the accused father himself called and informed the police. The woman's brother has filed a report against the father in the case.
Police arrested the murderer father and recovered the weapon. Pooja (22), daughter Harivansh Kumar a resident of village Salempur Khutiana in Jasrana police station, had a love affair with Gajendra Sharma, a youth of the village. Harivansh used to protest because the youth belonged to another caste.

According to the information, Harivansh did not allow pooja to meet many times but she did not agree. On Saturday night, Pooja was at home with her father. At around 12 pm, Pooja tried to open the door for her lover in secret but Pooja's father Harivansh Kumar was awake. Seeing this, Pooja went to the room. Harivansh lost his temper over this and after some time he went to the worship room. Harivansh first electrocuted daughter Pooja. When she screamed, he strangled her throat.

The body of Pooja covered in blood was lying in the room. About six o'clock in the morning, SP countryside Rajesh Kumar and CO OP Singh also reached the spot. Police sent the body of Pooja for postmortem.
