Recently, the case of crime has come up in Saharanpur district where Sukhbir Singh's wife Savita Saini (55) has been murdered in Sakhan Khurd village of Deoband and that murder was not done by anyone but her daughter-in-law. In this case, the daughter-in-law has also admitted her crime in police interrogation. The daughter-in-law said, "She was beaten with an iron rod and strangled." Police have arrested the accused woman. Vineet alias Bittu son Sukhbir Singh, resident of Sakhan Khurd, said in the complaint in Kotwali that, 'On December 1, 2019, he and his brother went out for work. His mother Savita, wife Pooja and children were present at home. On the same day at around 6.45 pm when he came back, he saw mother Savita is not at home.'

After searching, he reached the roof of the house, where he saw that Savita was lying dead. He noticed that there were bruises on the head and neck of the mother and based on the complaint, the police had registered a case in unknown and started investigation. In this case, SSP Dinesh Kumar also constituted a team under the leadership of SP Dehat Vidya Sagar Mishra and CO Chaub Singh and directed the early arrest of the accused. Simultaneously, on Friday, revealing the murder case, the SSP said, "The police arrested the accused Pooja, wife of Vineet alias Bittu from Sakhan Khurd village on Friday."

During this interrogation, Pooja told, 'Her mother-in-law used to taunt her. She used to do bad things in front of the women of the village on small matters. For this reason, in anger, she killed Savita by beating her on the head and strangling her." She further explained that during this time she threw the iron rod used in the murder into the canal. Now the police have presented Pooja in the court and sent her to jail.
