Bollywood filmmaker David Dhawan says that the remake of 'Kuli No.1' is a new film and will feature a lot of new things. Varun Dhawan will also appear in the role that featured the famous actor Govinda in 'Kuli No.1'. While Karishma Kapoor's role will show Sara Ali Khan. Actor Paresh Rawal is about to appear in the role of Kadar Khan.

1995 film was directed by Varun Dhawan's father, David Dhawan, and is also going to make the remake. "After looking at the original, I started working on the script and for six months I thought I should make it out of it or not," David said in a statement recently.

David further says, "I decided to make it and it's actually a new film and I worked on its screenplay for almost a year with the first film writer Rumi Jaffrey and with Farhad Samji on dialogue. David's 'Total No. 1' was released on June 30, 1995. While this remake will be released in the year 2020.
