LONDON: Former England bowling coach David Saker and former Australia left-handed hitter and current batting coach Michael Hussey will support England men's white-ball chief coach Matthew Mott during the nation's effort at the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia next month.

Hussey will join Jos Buttler's team for the T20 World Cup, while Saker, the England men's bowling coach from 2010 to 2015, will join Pakistan with the England team for the seven T20I matches that will precede the World Cup.
The first T20I of England's white-ball tour of the Indian subcontinent is scheduled for September 20 at Karachi's National Stadium.

Prior to the white-ball team's departure for Pakistan, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) released the following statement: "For the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in October and November, England Men's White-Ball Head Coach Matthew Mott has enlisted the support of former England bowling coach David Saker and Chennai Super Kings batting coach and former Australian international Michael Hussey.

"Saker, who coached the bowling for England Men from 2010 to 2015, will join Pakistan for the seven-game tour leading up to the World Cup. Hussey, 47, will join the England team for the World Cup after having a standout career as a middle-order batsman for Australia in all three forms, according to the release.

Last year, Eoin Morgan led England to the T20 World Cup semifinals in the UAE, where they fell to New Zealand.
Coaching staff for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup and the England T20 International Pakistan Tour includes Head Coach Matthew Mott, Assistant Coaches Richard Dawson and Carl Hopkinson, Coaching Consultant Mike Hussey (for the World Cup only), and Coaching Consultant David Saker.
