David Warner, one of the most successful batsmen of IPL, is in the top 5 list of batsmen who scored the highest in IPL every year. David Warner, who is known for playing big shots, has won the Orange Cap title the most times in IPL history, after which Sunrisers Hyderabad post-opener David Warner holds the record for the slowest FIFTY in the IPL. David Warner is the only batsman to score 44 half-centuries in the IPL.

It is worth noting that in the last IPL season, a match was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad Post and Kings Ilav Punjab on the ground of Mohali. After losing the toss and batting, the Hyderabad post team faltered from the very beginning. David Warner was in good form this season. But in this match, the ball was not coming on David Warner's bat. It seemed that the ball had run out of Warner's bat. Because of which, the record of putting the slowest half-century in IPL in the name of David Warner has been recorded. Warner scored 50 runs in 49 balls, which is the slowest in IPL history.

In this match, Warner remained unbeaten after batting for 20 overs and scored 70 runs in 62 balls. During this, Warner scored 6 fours and 1 six with a strike rate of 112.90. Despite almost 10 overs batting, scoring so few runs is against David Warner's ability. Due to this torture innings of Warner, Hyderabad was able to score 150-4 in 20 overs and lost the match by 6 wickets. This was not the first time that David Warner had completed a 45-ball fifty against Punjab in his home ground Hyderabad in 2017.
