Davos (Switzerland) [India] January 23 (NT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his address the plenary session of the 48th World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos in Switzerland this afternoon on 3:45 PM onwards.

The Chairman of WEF, Klaus Schwab will host the conference and Prime Minister Modi will display 'New India' to the global chief executives.

PM took his twitor handle and shared a link  to watch live his address  as saying,“Today, 3:45 PM onwards the Opening Plenary of the @wef commences. PM @narendramodi will address the plenary. You can watch the address live here. http://narendramodi.in/watch-live  #IndiaMeansBusiness”, PM tweeted

A number of roundtable conferences, organized by Invest India will also be conducted at the session to encourage clean energy solutions, digital payments, development of railway industry in India.

Prime Minister Modi had landed Davos last evening and hosted dinner for global industry honchos from 18 nations and presented stimulating opportunities for global businesses in India.

The Prime Minister also exchanged his views on bilateral talks with the President of Swiss Confederation Alain Berset.

PM Modi is The first Indian minister to be present at the WEF in more than two decades. Prime Minister Modi is being accompanied by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, among others.(NT)
