New Delhi: After 17th day tussle on hike of fuel prices today Petrol in Delhi now costs 78.35 a litre, fall from 78.42.
Petrol price was on Thursday drooped by 7 paise a litre and diesel by 5 paise. On a related note it was the second reduction in as many days on the back of lessen international oil rates.

This is the second cutback in rates coming after a 16 day harsh price hike that followed thrilling of a nearly three-week pause on price revision just before Cauvery disputed state Karnataka went to polls.
Worth mention here Petrol and diesel prices were yesterday cut by 1 paisa a litre each following technical glitches as it had dropped by 60 paise but after it was corrected and clarified that it was an typing error.
That decrease followed rates moving an all-time historic high of 78.43 per litre for petrol and 69.31 for diesel in Delhi on May 29.
It is noted that Fuel Prices vary from State-to-State depending on local sales tax or VAT.
The national capital Delhi has the cheapest price among all metropolitan and most state capitals.
