Today, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) projected Rs 3 crore as one-time fee for every corporate membership. The suggestion to invite corporate houses for memberships was made DDCA Vice President CK Khanna and will put in front of state board's Executive Committee for consideration.
Khanna passed a statement in which he said "We can invite corporate companies of repute to become members of the association by paying a one-time membership fee. This limited membership shall be under Corporate Membership category as mandated in the Article 3 of the Aticles of Association of DDCA,"
Also, the release declared that corporate members shall benefit from some extra civil liberties.
Khanna said "The corporate house will get to nominate any 2 persons for membership as their official nominees and both persons will enjoy full member rights except voting right to the elections of Executive Committee of DDCA," also, "The Executive Committeee, if agree can decide such membership fee such as aproximately Rs 3 crores each corporate house membership."
