Meanwhile, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has said, "No public program on Ganesh Chaturthi in the national capital will be approved in view of the Covid-19 epidemic.''

According to the statement, "The District Magistrate and the Deputy Commissioner of Police will ensure that idols of Lord Ganesha are not installed in tents and pandals. Further, it will be ensured that no crowd gathers at any religious or public place.'' According to the information received, the statement further said, "No procession will be allowed.''

The Same DDMA has asked people to celebrate this festival in their homes. At the same time, the statement said that this month is Ganesh Chaturthi and in view of the situation in Covid-19 and the restrictions imposed on the gathering of people, it has been decided that no event related to the festival will be allowed in public. Let me tell all of you that every State except Delhi is busy preparing on its own. In Maharashtra too, preparations have begun for the festival.
