New Delhi: Delhi Capitals (DC) and the team's fans were eagerly waiting for the return of Anrich Norkhia. On Thursday, in the 15th match of IPL 2022, Norkhia finally returned to the field, but he would hardly ever want to remember this match. Norkhia, who returned to the cricket field after a break of almost four months due to injury, could only bowl 14 deliveries before the umpires removed him from bowling. In fact, Norkhia's compatriot Quinton de Kock hit his balls, out of which everyone was surprised to see a six on the beamer ball.

Nortje's Beamer - Quinton's Six!
Strange shot, the best thing is no one got hurt, if it gets hurt then the bowler's morale because this ball was also hit for a six.#DCvsLSG #LSGvsDC #DCvLSG #LSGvDC #IPL2022 pic.twitter.com/omdSh9iEga

De Kock had scored 19 runs in the first over of Norkhia, after which captain Rishabh Pant removed him from the bowling. It was the fifth over of Delhi Capitals' innings. After this Norkhia was handed the bowling in the 14th over. Due to the dew, it was becoming very difficult for the bowlers to get grip on the ball in the second innings. The first ball of the over was a beamer and its speed was around 141 kmph. De Kock somehow managed to put his bat on this ball and the ball went for a six.
Norkhia conceded 14 runs in this over with a six on the no-ball. When Pant gave the ball to Norkhia for the third over, he bowled another beamer, after which the umpires removed him from bowling.
