Lucknow: The recovery of the bodies of two people hanging from a babool tree in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida has triggered panic in the entire area. The incident took place on a railway track near the bypass of Rupwas village under the Dadri police station area. Police came to know about the incident late on Friday evening. After which, the police, who reached the spot, have taken the bodies of both of them into custody and sent them to the hospital for post-mortem. And further investigations have been carried out.

The bodies belong to a young man and a young woman. The deceased youth was identified as 22-year-old Ravi Chand, a resident of Gorakhpur, while the girl is yet to be identified. Police said they had recovered his Aadhaar card from the pocket of the deceased youth, which could identify him. Additional DCP Vishal Pandey, while informing the media about the matter, said that two train tickets were also recovered from the pocket of the deceased youth.

He further said that in the initial investigation, it appears that the young man and the young woman have committed suicide due to a love affair. However, the police have taken the bodies of both of them into custody and sent them for post-mortem. The exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report comes.
