New Delhi: Today, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan expressed her grief on the death of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and said that the leader started lots of good works for women.

“Not only Tamil Nadu, but the whole Nation mourns over the demise of Jayalalithaa. She was a pioneer in serving the people of Tamil Nadu. She was a very good administrator. She had started a lot of good works for women. That’s why we see that women loved her most”, said the leader.

Sumitra Mahajan further added, “The death of Jayalalithaa is loss for the political arena. I give her tributes from our side. We will give tribute to her in Lok Sabha .”
