DHAKA: Death toll from Bangladesh's unprecedented floods has risen to over 100, the authorities said. The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room released a daily flood report on Sunday, revealing that 102 people were killed by floods between May 17 and June 28 in 27 of the 64 flood-affected districts.

As per the daily flood report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room on Sunday, it shows that Most victims died from drowning, snake bites and lightning in the flood-hit areas.

As of Sunday morning, at least 7 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours as of Sunday morning. The authorities have been fighting to deliver supplies in many northeastern and northern districts. In large areas of the northern and northeastern states, the floods have severely damaged homes and crops.

Bangladeshi State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief, Mohammed Enamur Rahman earlier said reporters that both the government and private agencies have been working together in the greater Sylhet region worst hit by the floods.
