Amaravati: Decided to continue curfew in Andhra Pradesh from 11 pm to 6 am. During the review meeting held at the camp office here on Thursday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed the officials to ensure compliance of the Kovid protocol in all educational institutions. Officials said that during the review meeting, keeping in view the festive season, it has been decided to continue the night curfew from 11 pm to 6 am.

Officials said so far 3,02,52,905 doses of the vaccine have been received and 2,18,04,564 have been given to people. Of these, 1,33,56,223 received a single dose of vaccination, while 84,48,341 were given two doses. Officials were confident that a single dose of vaccination would be provided to everyone above the age of 18 by the end of November. According to the latest update, there is a steady decline in the cases of corona in Andhra Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 1,290 people have recovered from COVID and have been safely discharged, and during the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh 64,739 people tested positive and 1,520 tested positive.

In the last 24 hours, 10 people have died due to corona infection. The total death toll has gone up to 13,887. For this, the State Health Department issued a health bulletin on Corona on Friday. There are currently 14,922 corona cases active in AP. With this, the number of positive cases in the state has reached 2018200. So far 2,68,09,774 corona diagnostic tests have been done in Andhra Pradesh.
