Chandigarh: Haryana Government has withdrawn the decision to keep the market closed on Monday and Tuesday after the decision of the Central Government. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has tweeted that now the state government does not have the right to do so after the guidelines of the Center. Therefore, this decision has been withdrawn.

Anil Vij has tweeted that the central government has not given the authority to impose a lockdown to the state in Unlock 4, due to which the Haryana government has withdrawn the order to close the market on Monday and Tuesday on August 28, Therefore, there will be no lockdown. Earlier, the government had decided to keep shopping malls and shops closed on all Mondays and Tuesdays instead of keeping the markets closed on all Saturdays and Sundays in Haryana. However, it was decided to keep shops of essential commodities open during this period. It was decided to keep the liquor shops open seven days. The merchant classes were against this decision.
