New Delhi: The country is witnessing a decline in the number of new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours, where 1,67,059 new cases have been reported. The death cases have increased the problem of the central government, where 1192 patients died due to the pandemic. The death toll increased for the third day in a row. In India, 959 patients died on Monday, 893 on Sunday and 871 on Saturday.

Due to this, 2,54,076 recoveries have been made and 1,192 patients have died of the corona. After 1.67 lakh new cases, the number of people who have tested positive for corona in India so far has reached 4,14,69,499. The total vaccination figure in the country has gone up to 1,66,68,48,204, while the daily positivity rate stands at 11.69 per cent.

On Monday, 42,142 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Kerala. As a result, 38,458 patients were cured and 14 people died. There are 35,7,552 active patients of Corona here. In Karnataka, 24,172 new cases of the corona were reported. In the last 24 hours, 30,869 people have recovered and 56 patients have died. Active cases are 244331 in the state. Tamil Nadu reported 19,280 cases of corona on the previous day. 15,140 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, there have been 39 deaths. In Maharashtra, 91 new patients infected with omicrons have been identified.
