The legal proceedings on this entire matter, Rakesh's counsel Ashok Sarovgi informed that the first hearing of this petition was held by the High Court's Vacation Bench on December 27 and now the next hearing date has been fixed on January 7.

Seeking punishment in criminal case
The lawyer told, 'We have two demands in this matter. First, the film should not be released without giving credit to Rakesh Bharti. Second, those involved in this crime should be punished.' According to Sarovgi, when the FIR was tried to be written in this case, the police refused to register a complaint due to the involvement of large production houses and powerful people. A hearing, in this case, will be held on January 7 in the High Court, while the criminal case will be heard on January 9 in Borivali Court.

Not only this, Rakesh said while saying his words, 'This fight is not for them. It is rather right every time the rights of writers are taken away. I also have an appeal to Gulzar saheb to be associated with me as a writer, to help me in this fight and to give me justice.'

Not only that, according to Bharti, this project was delayed for some reason. But then when he came to know that Meghna Gulzar and Fox Star Studios were filming on his idea, he complained to the producers. However, seeing no answer, he filed a petition in the High Court.
