Director Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are all set to team up for their third solo cop film, Singham Again or  Singham 3. The first parts stars Ajay as Inspector Bajirao Singham, and  Kajal Aggarwal. The second part stars Kareena Kapoor as Ajay’s love interest. Their role is restricted to only playing the love interest of the Hero but in this film the leading lady has much more to offer. Deepika is all set to play the cop in Singham 3.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed Singham Again cast on Twitter. He has shared a picture of Deepika and Rohit from the sets of Current Laga, he wrote, “It’s official… Rohit Shetty - Deepika Padukone - ‘Singham Again’… #RohitShetty announces his lady #Singham… #DeepikaPadukone to be a part of #SinghamAgain, making her the first lady cop of #RohitShetty's popular Cop Universe.”

He also sharing another picture wrote, “Ajay Devgn eams with Deepika Padukone for the first time… #SinghamAgain reunites #RohitShetty and #DeepikaPadukone after #ChennaiExpress and #Cirkus [cameo].” Deepika Padukone in Singham Again will also be her first outing in a ‘Khaki Vardi.’ Filming for his cop drama is expected to begin in April 2023!

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe starts with with 2011 film Singham followed by Singham Returns in 2014, both featuring Ajay as the titular character. Ranveer joined the film franchise with 2018 film Simmba. Akshay Kumar also joined the film series with its fourth installment Sooryavanshi in 2021. Meanwhile, Rohit is also working on an OTT version as well, titled Indian Police Force. It stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi as cops.
