In such a situation, Deepika Padukone said- 'I do not believe in announcing the film to make a budget.

I have taken this project very thoughtfully. I was busy with Chhapaak's promotions, that's why there was no time to sit and discuss for this film. We have to finalize the cast and crew as well. In the Mahabharata, Deepika can also work for the second time as a producer. Giving a statement on the responsibility of the film, he said - Making the Mahabharata is not like other films. From the same production scale to budget and costumes, it will take five times more effort. I can not do it in a short time.

This is my most ambitious project till date. He can produce this film together with Deepika Madhu Mantena. It is being told that Deepika also worked as a producer in addition to the actor in the January release Zoya Akhtar directed Chhapaak. It was his first film as a producer. Even though the film did not earn much at the box office, but according to the budget, the film took away its cost through other means.
