Ayodhya: The days of Ramnagari Ayodhya, which has been the centrepiece of the country's politics for a long time, have started changing. The construction of the grand temple of Lord Rama has started and along with it the campaign to decorate the city of Ayodhya and to give it the prestige that this historical city deserves from the beginning has also started. Now before the Deepotsav, the Gorakhpur-Lucknow road connecting Ayodhya to the state capital Lucknow is being adorned and decorated.

The central government and the state government plan to develop the Gorakhpur-Lucknow road passing through Ayodhya as Shri Ram Marg. Along with the six-lane linking of the National Highway connecting Ayodhya with Lucknow, a plan is underway to decorate and bring alive the episodes related to Ramayana. On the highway from Sahadatganj to Ramghat, statues depicting various stages of life, from the childhood of Lord Shri Ram to the life of a forest dweller and becoming King Ram, are being established.

Along with the various forms of Lord Ram, idols of sages and philosophers related to his life are also being inaugurated on the roadside. In this regard, the District Magistrate (DM) of Ayodhya, Nitish Kumar has informed that preparations have intensified for the Diwali festival in Ramnagari.
