New Delhi: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said today that the pattern of war has changed now and new types of threats are in front of the country. He also pointed out that in the coming time, new types of challenges may be facing India. Rajnath Singh said this during the military literary festival. In the corona era, Rajnath Singh joined it through video conferencing.

Rajnath Singh said that from another perspective, this event is very important for me. With changing times, threats and methods of warfare are changing. In the coming time, different issues related to security can be faced by us. This is the fourth edition of the three-day event. Today was Friday, its first day. Its theme is 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan'. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that in our country there has been an ancient tradition of writing literature in the spirit of nationalism. There have been writings in almost all languages, be it Hindi or Punjabi, or Gujarati, which have awakened and developed a sense of indigenous love within people during their times.

He said that behind linking military literature with the common people, I myself have been deeply interested. My great wish is that our future generations should know and understand the history of our country, especially the border history. Therefore, along with assuming the post of Defense Minister, I had set up a committee. It is working towards bringing our frontier history, its related war, a sacrifice of knights and their dedication to people in a simple and easy way.
