Srinagar: A day after sending a strong message from Lukung to China, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has visited the Forward Post on Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara today. He tweeted about this and said, "Today I visited forward post near LOC in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, and interacted with the soldiers stationed there. We are extremely proud of these brave and courageous soldiers who have said to keep our country safe and sound any circumstances. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh completed the tour of the Amarnath temple. Meanwhile, he was also joined by Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General MM Naravane. He spent about an hour in the temple premises."

According to the information, the Defense Minister left for a two-day tour of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Earlier, on Friday, he visits the Lukung military outpost in Leh-Ladakh to take a stock of India's counter-strategic preparations amid a dispute over Chinese encroachment along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Defense Minister reached Leh-Ladakh with Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General MM Naravane while boosting the morale of the troops stationed on the front fronts, while also conveying a message to China that it was for both the countries to resolve the negotiations.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Leh and spoke to the soldiers. While giving a very strict message to China about the border dispute, he said that no power in the world will be able to occupy an inch of land in India. Adopting an impromptu approach, he said that the talks so far are expected to resolve. But to what extent the issue is going to be resolved, it cannot be guaranteed. He also said that India is not only ready, but also capable of responding to any Chinese action to redefine the LAC with the help of military power."
