Dehradun: Suspense is still on when Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrives at the All India Conference of Presiding Officers, which is going to start in Uttarakhand Assembly starting today, but Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will reach the capital this evening. The conference will be duly inaugurated on Wednesday, in which Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and all MPs of the state, state government ministers and current and former MLAs of the city will also be present.

According to sources from Emily, on Monday, Assembly Speaker Premchand Aggarwal gave a detailed information about the preparations of the conference during a press conference in the assembly. As of this, he said that by Monday i.e. December 16, 2019, the consent of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Speaker of the Assembly of 21 States, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of 13 States, Assembly Secretaries of 23 States has been agreed to attend the conference. Lok Sabha Speaker and Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha will reach Dehradun this evening. On behalf of the assembly, all the guests will be welcomed with mufflers prepared by the weavers of Uttarakhand in place of bouquets. Mountain traditional dishes will also be served to all the guests. Regarding the arrival of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the program, Agarwal said that the Speaker of Lok Sabha is making continuous efforts.

At the same time, it has been learned that he was also trying to call the Prime Minister in the conference, but during that time he is busy. Efforts are on to call the Home Minister. With which he said that the conference will be organized in a hotel in Premnagar. He will have a welcome speech in the inaugural session and besides the Speaker, the Chief Minister will also address. Vis Secretary Jagdish Chandra was also present in the press conference.
