People of the country's capital Delhi-NCR is not getting relief from pollution. The air quality index touched close to 500 on Thursday. The air quality level in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi on Thursday morning was 488, which is quite dangerous for people suffering from Asthma and respiratory diseases. Talking about Noida adjacent to Delhi, the air quality here has been recorded 429 which is going to prove very fatal in terms of health.

Earlier on Wednesday, wind speed decreased due to which the pollutants were present at the same place in the atmosphere. Due to this, there was an increase in pollution in the Air Quality Index. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department had said that light rain may occur on Wednesday evening, due to which the level of pollution will improve, but due to lack of rain, the quality of air has reached dangerous levels.

Regarding increasing pollution, the Meteorological Department believes that once again the air is likely to clear in Delhi-NCR. According to the journey, Delhi-NCR will be cloudy on Thursday. After afternoon, hail may occur with light rain. Air pollution will improve due to rain. Chances of increasing fog is also being expressed.
