New Delhi: Around 1 lakh people are currently being given corona vaccine every day in the country's capital Delhi. But in this sense, the dose of vaccine in the capital is very low. On May 8, CM Arvind Kejriwal had said that now we have only 5 to 6 days of stock left. Due to this, vaccination is not picking up pace in Delhi.

Corona vaccination continues amid vaccine shortage in Delhi. CM Kejriwal has urged the health ministry to direct the Central government to supply 60 lakh doses to Delhi per month from Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech. Delhi has a population of about 10 million people between the ages of 18. Million doses are required for vaccination. But Delhi still has a very small number of vaccines. While the Delhi government wants the vaccination work to be completed by the end of July, the vaccine shortage is clouding the target.

CM Kejriwal has claimed that his government can get everyone vaccinated within three months but it requires availability of vaccine. Delhi has a population of about 20 million. It has a population of 1.5 million. Giving the vaccine to all means that 30 million vaccine doses will be required.
