In fact, these monkeys have been captured from areas where more cases of corona infection have been reported and the forest department has taken these steps to keep them separate as a precaution, so that corona infection does not spread to other animals in the sanctuary.

Forest department officials said that none of these arrested monkeys have been diagnosed with corona symptoms. Antigen tests were conducted on all these monkeys, all of which have been reported negative. The forest department team has placed these monkeys in the warranty at the Animal Rescue Centre (Animal Rescue Center) in Tughlakabad.
