New Delhi: A lawyer from the national capital Delhi has lodged a complaint against Indian Medical Association (IMA) chief Dr JA Jayalal on Friday. According to media reports, police say lawyer Vishnu Sharma has lodged a complaint against Jaylal for propagating Christianity and inciting people to convert.

Sharma said in his complaint that the way Jayalal is propagating Christianity on social media is adding to the enmity between religious groups. He said he saw a debate on TV in which Jayalal Baba was abusing Ramdev, accusing him and threatening him. Advocate Sharma has accused Jaylal of promoting Christianity through his media interviews. It may be recalled that IMA General Secretary Dr Jayesh Lele had lodged a police complaint on Thursday (May 27, 2021) that Ramdev was spreading misinformation about corona treatment and doctors through his video.

According to the complaint, Jayalal had also said that if Ramdev withdraws his statements against corona vaccination and modern medicine, the notices sent against him may be considered for withdrawal. In an interview, Dr. Jayalal said that he wanted IMA to share the 'love of Jesus Christ' and convince everyone that Jesus was the one who protected himself personally. He said that it was because of churches and Christian kindness that many of the past pandemics and diseases were treated in the world.
