New Delhi: After five months on Wednesday, Delhi's air has been recorded in a bad category. As per the information by the Central Pollution Control Board, the average index of the day in Delhi has been recorded at 216.

The air quality index for most parts of the country's capital Delhi is above 200 points. It is said that the same situation is likely to continue in the coming two-three days. The people of the capital, Delhi, had the opportunity to breathe good and clean air this year. According to experts, there was never such a clean air without pollution for seven months. There was dust and smoke at all times in the air.

However, this year, due to lockdown, the people of Delhi got constant clean air. The air remained clear due to persistent Western disturbance before the lockdown. On March 3, Delhi's air quality index was recorded in the poor category. Whereas thereafter, the public curfew was imposed on March 22 and the lockdown, which started on March 25, made the air very clear.
