Air quality turns 'severe' in Delhi, people face breathing problems

New Delhi: Pollution continues to increase in the national capital Delhi. The national capital witnessed a thin layer of smog on Monday morning and the air quality was Severe. Today ITO area has AQI 302, while AQI 362 in Sonia Vihar, AQI 345 in Bawana, AQI 326 in Patparganj and AQI 373 in Jahangirpuri have been recorded which fall under the 'Severe' category.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, these are in the 'severe' category, even today people in Delhi feel suffocated in breathing. Even today, there is a smog, people who have taken a walk in the morning have also felt a little problem in breathing, Delhi's headache is also very high because Diwali is coming in a few days, in which people burst firecrackers. If the air in Delhi is so toxic from now, the situation may worsen even more after Diwali, however, to solve the problems of the people, Delhi has now allowed to burn green firecrackers.

With this, the Delhi government has launched an app. Which is called 'Green Delhi' app, after which people can now complain if they see pollution anywhere around them. However, the government is constantly engaged in pollution prevention. The Kejriwal government in Delhi has implemented the electric vehicle policy, while the government is going to start anti-cracker campaign from November 3.
