New Delhi: Pollution levels in the air in the country's capital Delhi have increased. People are also facing difficulties in breathing due to poisonous air already before Diwali. Meanwhile, Delhi's air has shown a slight improvement today (Tuesday) i.e. The capital's air has now moved from 'severe' to 'very bad.'

According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the average air quality index (AQI) in Delhi has been recorded at 372. State that the Air Quality Index (AQI) is placed in the 'good' category between 0 and 50, 'satisfactory' between 51 and 100, 'medium' between 101 and 200, 'bad' between 201 and 300, 'very poor' between 301 and 400 and 'serious' between 401 and 500.

Air quality in Delhi has come under the 'very poor' category with the marginal improvement since Monday after being in the 'critical' category for three consecutive days. Delhi's AQI was recorded at 385 the previous day. Meanwhile, the national capital is likely to have a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius today (Tuesday) i.e. 09 November while the maximum temperature is likely to be 28 degrees Celsius. According to the weather forecast, fog and mist may remain shadowed.
