The air quality in Delhi remains classified as 'very poor' with an AQI of 310 as of Monday morning. According to SAFAR-India, the air quality index in the national capital was at 310 by 8:30 am, falling within the 'very poor' category.

CPCB data recorded at 7:00 am on Monday revealed specific AQI levels: Anand Vihar recorded 361, Alipur at 368, Ashok Vihar at 342, ITO at 318, and RK Puram at 344 - all registering within the 'very poor' category.

Despite the recent lifting of restrictions under GRAP-4 due to an improvement in air quality, Environment Minister Gopal Rai urged continued caution. He highlighted that while there has been some improvement in pollution levels over the past few days, the AQI currently stands at 290. Rai emphasized the need for ongoing vigilance, noting that carelessness following Diwali led to an increase in AQI levels, which had previously reached 215 before the festival.

Recognizing the progress in air quality, the CAQM lifted certain restrictions on Saturday, allowing trucks and buses (excluding BS-3 and BS-4 petrol and diesel vehicles) to enter the city and permitting ongoing construction activities by revoking the GRAP-4 measures.
