New Delhi: Terrorists and their followers are bewildered after the Central Government took a major step on Jammu and Kashmir. They want to avenge it by carrying out major terrorist acts in the country. For the past several days, intelligence agencies have been getting inputs. Despite the peaceful passing of 15th August, intelligence agencies have received information that terrorists may carry out suicide attacks at VIP places in Delhi. They can carry out the attack with the help of a government vehicle.

A senior Delhi Police official said, inputs were received during the August 15 celebrations. Security agencies have breathed a sigh of relief as the August 15 celebrations concluded smoothly. The official said that there are still inputs about the terror attack in Delhi. Terrorists can attack VIP buildings, crowded markets and hotels. Police are on alert mode across Delhi in the wake of inputs of the terror attack.

Separate checking of hotels and markets is being done separately. In Delhi, vehicles are being checked. The police official said, if any suspect appears, he has been ordered to be taken into custody immediately and taken to the police station for questioning. Verification of tenants and car dealers has been stepped up. Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik has issued strict orders to his subordinates to ensure that there is no lapse in the security arrangements.
