New Delhi: Delhi Assembly proceedings began. On completion of 30 years of the formation of the Assembly, the Speaker of the Assembly congratulated all the members. Also on this occasion he alleged that the Finance Secretary of Delhi is trying to curb the independence of Delhi Assembly. He was working to violate the financial rights of the Assembly.

In this regard, a proposal was also placed before the Assembly. In which he has said that the Secretary of the Assembly should work in the same way in the coming days as he has been working for 30 years. His proposal was passed by the assembly. Delhi government has increased the MLA fund. MLA fund has been increased from Rs 4 crore to Rs 7 crore.

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Madan Lal raised the question of Delhi Assembly not being paperless. He has appealed that whoever is guilty in this case. Action should be taken against them. The Assembly Speaker replied that the Finance Secretary of the Delhi Government has not given permission to hire a consultant in this regard. For this reason this case is pending.
