New Delhi: After the verdict of the apex court, the path of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has been cleared. With this, Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit president Manoj Tiwari has raised the demand to build an international airport in Ayodhya. Tiwari has said that after the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will become a center of Hindu faith in the world, in view of which an international airport will be needed.

It is worth mentioning that, while giving the verdict in the Ayodhya case, the apex court on Saturday asked the central government to form a trust for the construction of Ram temple in three months. In a unanimous decision taken by a five-judge bench, the apex court has also ordered a Sunni Waqf Board, a party in this case, to separately give 5 acres of land in Ayodhya for the construction of the mosque.

In a letter to Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Manoj Tiwari has said, 'I urge you to consider a proposal to build an international airport in Ayodhya so that people of the country and the world can directly connect here.' He also said that Ayodhya can be developed as a top religious tourist place so that the entire region can be fully developed.
