Tiwari said, "It was decided in the meeting of the Home Minister that Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP leaders of all the three parties should take initiative to stop the violence and the police should take strict action. Every political party should make every effort to establish peace. Police have been instructed to take immediate action on any information from public representatives. So far 73 companies of Delhi Police have been deployed in the violence-affected areas."
