New Delhi: After the statement of Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national president Arvind Kejriwal on NRC, the debate on 'Delhi vs Outer' was not cold even now that Kejriwal has given another statement, on which Controversy has arisen. According to media reports, in his latest statement, Kejriwal has said that people from states like Bihar are coming to Delhi with a ticket of Rs 500 and undergoing treatment for up to Rs 5 lakh.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal-United (JDU) have reacted sharply to his statement. Earlier, CM Kejriwal had said that if NRC is implemented in Delhi, then Delhi BJP unit president Manoj Tiwari will have to leave the national capital. Kejriwal reacted to people from other states (especially people from Bihar) coming to Delhi for treatment at a program, on which political rhetoric has intensified.
