New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee protested in the capital on Sunday over the ever increasing prices of petrol and diesel. Along with this, all the MPs of Delhi, submitted the memorandum to them. Seeking to reduce the rising prices of petrol and diesel, Congress leaders and workers took out a cycle rally in the capital today. Along with this, the Congress sat in protest in small squads at different places.

In fact, in the last month in June, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased gradually by continuously within 23 days. Speaking to a news channel, Delhi Congress unit president Anil Chaudhary said that we are meeting all the MPs of Delhi. They are urging them to urge the central and Delhi governments to take back the increased prices of petrol and diesel. He said that VAT and Excise Duty should be reduced so that the general public can get some relief at the time of this epidemic.

Anil Chaudhary met BJP MP Manoj Tiwari and told him that we have also appealed to CM Kejriwal. Our appeal is that VAT should be reduced in the capital, on which Tiwari said that yes, if Kejriwal wishes, the price should be reduced considerably.
