Corona patients in Delhi crosses 13 thousand, 261 people died

New Delhi: The number of people who lost their lives due to the coronavirus in the country's capital Delhi has increased to 261. After the arrival of 508 new cases of infection on Sunday, the number of infected people in Delhi has increased to 13,418. In the bulletin released on Sunday, the Delhi Health Department has said that a total of 6,540 people have been cured of the infection so far while 6,617 infected patients are still undergoing treatment.

Earlier on Saturday, the number of infected was 12,910 and the number of dead was 231. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has praised AAP's Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh and his wife Anita who were providing food to the migrants during the coronavirus lockdown. Sharing a video posted on Anita's Twitter account, Kejriwal said that the AAP MP also assisted hundreds of migrant workers to reach their homes. In the above video, Anita is seen distributing food packets and masks to people in a bus of workers.

Kejriwal tweeted, "Our Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh ji and his wife Anita ji are providing food to poor people every day. He also assisted hundreds of migrant workers to their homes. Salute this service. ''
