At the same time, to give financial relief to 32 lakh tendu leaf collectors in the Corona period, the state government has started distributing the bonus of tendu leaves from Saturday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has distributed a bonus of Rs 12.82 crore online to 11 committees of the former Mandla forest division.
However, Rs 184 crore will be distributed to the remaining collectors in the next two months. On this occasion, the Chief Minister has also talked to collectors through video conferencing. The collectors reminded Shivraj Singh the flask that had been distributed in the previous term and said that it is still going on.
For information, let us tell you that in the year 2018, Shivraj government had distributed a bonus of about 450 crore rupees before the assembly elections. 184 crores was left in it, which is now being distributed. Talking to the collectors, Chief Minister Chouhan said that with the aim of increasing income, the value of various forest produce has been increased by 19 to 53 percent. At the same time, MNREGA works have also been started on a large scale.
