New Delhi: With the decline in new cases of corona epidemic in the capital Delhi, active cases have also come down to nearly 800. In Delhi, 79 new corona cases were registered in Delhi on Tuesday during which 4 people lost their lives. The positivity rate in Delhi has now gone up to 0.11 percent. This has been reported in the figures issued by the Health Department.

Earlier on Monday, only 54 new corona cases were registered and 2 people died. In the capital, 154 people have recovered from defeating corona on Tuesday. There are 833 active cases in the capital at present. The total number of infected people in Delhi has now increased to 14,34,687, while 25,001 people have died due to the virus so far. So far, 14,08,853 people have recovered from the disease in the capital. On the other hand, the Delhi Government has launched an important scheme for the families affected by corona infection.

CM Arvind Kejriwal held a video conference with such affected families in the country's capital in this regard. It approved the Corona Family and Financial Assistance Scheme. Kejriwal further said that the 'Covid-19 Parivar Financial Assistance Scheme' portal is being launched. Those who have died of corona infection in their home can apply on the portal. Kejriwal said a Delhi government representative will go to everyone's house and fill the form and register.
