Delhi government issues 'Work from home' order for 50% employees

New Delhi:  The deadly coronavirus wreaking havoc all around the globe at this time.  An outbreak of this virus is being seen everywhere. The most impact is being seen in Delhi. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has issued work-From-home (WFH) orders for 50% of its employees associated with non-essential services. At the same time, it has asked private establishments to adjust the time and the number of employees.

On Saturday, an order was issued stating, "all government office grade 1 / level officers will have 100% attendance. The remaining employees are present in the office up to 50% as per requirement till 31 December or until further orders. Private offices are advised to reduce time and adjust staff attendance. "

 


Apart from this, it has also been said in the order, 'Office of Delhi Government, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, Corporations, Local Bodies, Grade-One level or above officials have been required to come to office'. It is advisable to work from home as far as possible in the private office. Delhi Revenue Minister Kailash Gehlot has tweeted about this in which he has said, "DDMA has decided to reduce number of Govt employees attending office at the same time,it has been decided that in respect of officials lower than Grade 1, only 50% of the strength shall attend office. Private offices are also advised to stagger timings & presence of staff. "
