New Delhi: The Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi has started a fight against pollution caused by stubble burning. The agriculture department is spraying bio-decomposers for smelting stubble from Burari village in Delhi. The Delhi government is aiming to spray free bio-decomposers on over 5,000 acres of farms this year.

The Delhi government has formed 21 teams to spray bio-decomposers. At present, bio-decomposers will be sprayed free of cost by the government in all basmati and non-basmati paddy fields. For this, a form has been filled from the farmers. Let us know that, in the cold season in Delhi-NCR, stubble burning by farmers increases pollution. The atmosphere becomes very suffocating, due to which it becomes difficult to breathe. Now the Delhi government is working on a 15-point winter action plan to get rid of this problem.

Paddy is cultivated only in some parts of Delhi. Bio-decomposer was sprayed free of cost last year to avoid pollution from stubble in Delhi. The results were also extremely positive. However, there is definitely a problem in front of the farmers. The time interval between the harvesting of paddy crops and the sowing of wheat is reduced. Farmers should not have much problem with the sowing of wheat, the government has started this work in time.
