New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on March 28  that the amount of work that was not done in the national capital in 65 years was multipled by his government in Eight years.

Kejriwal emphasised Delhi's "zero-corruption" model during the House in the Delhi Assembly's consideration of the budget. He claimed to have improved the city's transportation system to the level of the top global cities. "Delhi is one of the very few cities in the world where women are not charged for using the public transportation system. He said that women have used free buses 100 crore times in three years.

He said Delhi offers free access to high-quality education, healthcare, energy, and water. He claimed that Delhi had a system in place to curb inflation. According to Kejriwal, this paradigm has given the nation hope and improved Delhi's quality of life. Throughout the course of 65 years, 5865 buses were operationalized in total, but today Delhi has 7379 buses and the most electric vehicles overall.

The Chief Minister said, 5,138 km of water pipeline have been installed around the city in the last eight years. Formerly, 900 MGD of water was produced, but that amount has now increased to 1000 MGD. The amount of water generated will increase to 1240 MGD by 2025 from the current 1000 MGD.

He said that the budget included Rs 21,000 crore for infrastructure, including new flyovers, triple-decker flyovers, world-class ISBT depots, and two multi-level bus depots.He also said during the past eight years, his government has been able to reduce pollution by 30%.

The Delhi government, which is run by the Aam Aadmi Party, plans to build 100 "Mahila Mohalla Clinics" and place them in metro areas.
