After the re-sealing of the Delhi border amid Corona crisis, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has made it clear that the Delhi border will not be opened till May 31 as long as lockdown 4.0 continues. After that the government will see what guidelines have come under Lockdown 5.0. A decision will be taken accordingly.
In his statement, he said that governments run according to the law. It is clearly written in the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs that apart from essential services, the common man cannot cross such borders. We have followed the guidelines of the MHA (Home Ministry) in letter and spirit and will continue to do so further. Also, he said that I have sent the Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department along with DG Health to visit. In the respective districts where the influence of Corona has increased on the border adjacent to Delhi. After studying them, they will give their report. At the same, while blaming Delhi, Vij said that all the four-five districts in Haryana, where more cases have taken place, all have boundaries along the Delhi border. Therefore, they have sealed the border with Delhi. No border other than the category that has been allowed in the High Court and MHA guidelines. Anil Vij said that there are more than four hundred cases in Gurugram and almost the same are in Sonipat, Faridabad and Jhajjar. All other districts have less than 50 cases.
For your information, let us tell you that former Chief Secretary of Haryana PK Chaudhary has objected to the Delhi border being sealed. He has said through tweet that the government has great support in giving revenue to Faridabad and Gurugram in Haryana. It is unfortunate that the minister cannot order to seal and open the border. It is up to the local administration to decide. On this, Anil Vij has said that the world writes on Twitter, I will not answer everyone.
