New Delhi: Health Minister Satyendra Jain in Delhi's Kejriwal government has said that the figure of COVID19 cases will go up for a few days in Delhi as corona testing has been increased in Delhi. Satyendra Jain has said that the pace of testing has been increased four times in the capital. We have increased the testing in Delhi by 4 times".

He said that "We are assuming that the impact will be visible in 10-15 days. Active cases will grow further, but this will make us isolate all the infected cases. The result will be seen in the next 10-15 days". Satyendra Jain said that "4473 cases were registered in Delhi on Wednesday. 62,593 tests were conducted on Wednesday as against 7.15 per cent on September 16. 3313 people have recovered from COVID19. According to the last 10-day figure, the death rate is 0.7 per cent".

On the availability of beds, Satyendra Jain has said that Delhi now has 14521 beds and will be extended further. Is there enough oxygen management in Delhi? Satyendra Jain said that "We are increasing beds in ICU in Delhi. 3 days ago, orders have been issued that 33 big hospitals reserve 80 per cent of their total capacity for ICU beds for corona patients".
