AAP leader caught in illegal distribution of covid medicine, Delhi HC orders probe

New Delhi: Drug frauds are also rampant in the country amid the crisis of corona epidemic. Which includes the names of many senior leaders. Delhi Police on Tuesday approached Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Dilip Pandey on the orders of the Delhi High Court in a similar case. The court has asked some leaders in the country's capital to investigate the incidents of alleged purchase and distribution of remadesivirs after which police have contacted Pandey.

Delhi Police officials have informed about the same. Aap MLA accused the Centre of harassing people to help them during the epidemic and said a crime branch team had come to interrogate them. A senior police officer informed that following a writ petition filed by a man named Deepak Singh, the Delhi High Court has ordered delhi police to probe the leaders involved in illegal distribution of covid medicines etc.

The official said Pandey was contacted on Tuesday but his phone was found switched off. Later, the investigating officer spoke to his personal assistant. A lawyer then called and informed us that he would present Pandey's reply on Wednesday.
