New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday issued a notice to both on the petition of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking dismissal of Chidambaram and his son's anticipatory bail in the Aircel Maxis case. Earlier, P. Chidambaram received a big blow from the Delhi High Court in the CBI case of INX Media rigging. The High Court has dismissed the bail plea of P. Chidambaram.

Actually, the High Court had reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of CBI and Chidambaram. Chidambaram had filed a bail petition in the CBI case and currently, Chidambaram is imprisoned in Tihar Jail in Delhi. Earlier, Chidambaram's lawyer Kapil Sibal had argued in his previous hearing before the High Court that he had never met Indrani Mukherjee.

Kapil Sibal said that during CBI custody "I was told that Peter Mukherjee had met us and not Indrani. Peter himself has said this in his statement. Agency officials have told this. Apart from this, the visitor's book can also be checked that we have not met Indrani".
