New Delhi: The petition related to giving the corona vaccine by putting lawyers and judges in the category of frontline workers was also heard in the Delhi High Court. The petitioner demanded a moratorium on the export of the vaccine till the next hearing, which was rejected by the High Court. The High Court refused to ban the export of the Corona vaccine, saying that the government was able to take its decision on the issue.

However, there have been reports in some newspapers that Kovid vaccine is being exported even in countries which are not friendly to us. On behalf of the Center, it was said that the government does not want to give a political color to the matter by making a statement in the court. During the hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that lawyers above 60 years of age and those above 45 years who have serious illnesses are being given the Corona vaccine on the basis of preference. But the central government cannot give preference to someone for getting the vaccine based on their profession.

The Center, while presenting its case in the court, said that it is not that we are making the vaccine and sending it abroad. We have been vaccinating people continuously since 1 February. The Delhi Bar Council said that when the Armed Forces, the people of the municipality and even those employees working for the Revenue Department have been placed under the category of frontline workers, who are working from the office, then the lawyer and the judge who Coming to the court room and constantly working every day among the crowd of new people, why not include them in the frontline workers.
