New Delhi: A case has been reported of attempting to mount a BMW on a police constable in Sarita Vihar area of Delhi. Constables Jitendra and Ankur were on patrol on Tuesday night. This accident happened during that time. Due to patrol, a BMW car was seen parked near the ATM in the H Pocket Market in Sarita Vihar area on which the cake was placed. Some boys were creating a ruckus near the BMW car. The soldiers asked the boys to go home at night. The youth did not go home and started arguing with the soldiers. The youth began to say, "We are local, this will be the birthday party here. Let's see who stops."

Subsequently, Constable Ankur called at Sarita Vihar Police Station. Seeing the police van, the youth started running towards Janata Flat Mandpur Khadar. The police car started chasing them. The BMW car took a sudden turn near K's pocket. RCP Meena, DCP, South-East District said that because of this, Constable Jitendra and Ankur kept giving signals to the youth to stop the car.

The driver attempted to board the car at Constable Ankur but Ankur jumped and saved his own life. After this, the driver turned the car towards him with the intention of trampling Jitendra. His leg has been hurt in this. Currently, Constable Jitendra has been admitted to the hospital. The police chased down the car attempting to trample the constable. During the run, the BMW car again hit a juice shop. One person was also injured in it. Beer bottles have been received in the car. Further investigation is being done in the case.
