New Delhi: Many shocking cases are coming to light nowadays. Now amidst all this, a strange incident has come to light from the capital Delhi. In fact, one person has died here due to the popular street food Momos. In this case, it is being told that the person died due to the Momos getting stuck in the throat. After this whole incident, the expert of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) issued a warning to make the Momos aware of the slippery stability and the possibility of getting stuck in the throat due to its small size.

In fact, in the warning issued by AIIMS, it has been said that Momos should be swallowed carefully. Actually, Momos available with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are a popular Asian dish, which people love to eat with great interest. Although usually prepared by steaming Momos, various versions of its variety have emerged over the past few years, including fry, tandoori, gravy and chocolate Momos. Momos is a popular street food dish in Indian regions like Sikkim, Assam, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and Arunachal Pradesh. On the other hand, the AIIMS report published in Forensic Imaging has revealed the death of a 50-year-old man due to suffocation from his Momos. It is being said that the man was allegedly brought to AIIMS from south Delhi. The police investigation in this case further revealed that the man fell down after consuming Momos at a shop and during the post-mortem, a CT scan revealed that the man died of suffocation due to the trapping of Momos in the throat.

After this case came to light, AIIMS issued a warning to 'swallow Momos with caution'. Dr Abhishek Yadav, who is the author of the report and an additional professor in the forensic department at AIIMS, also spoke about the suffocating danger posed by the slippage of Momos. In fact, he pointed out that the cause of death in this unique case was concluded as a neurogenic cardiac arrest, which was caused by the trapping of the Momos and it was found to be located at the entrance of the Momos larynx. He further explained that the size of the Momos is 5x3 cm, so this type of food should be swallowed very carefully by people.
